I hope you are well and managing to stay warm as temperatures plummet.
Saturday saw the first Clarity Dorset & Hampshire workshop of the year. We experimented with shaving foam and inks this month, using the Wee Fairies and Elves stamps. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and weren’t too worried about getting messy!
The group made a selection of projects:
Firstly a note book cover – this is the front
and this is the inside, as you can see the card was dipped into the shaving foam twice to decorate both sides.
Here is what the group did:
The next project was a card using an idea my sister told me about – from Splitcoaststampers.com (sorry it’s looking a little battered!)
The group produced these wonderful examples, so many different ideas:
The next one used one of the Wild Grasses Stencils. Shaving foam was used on the stencil in mine:
And here are the lovely cards from the group, where you can see some used shaving foam on the stencils whilst others inked through the stencil onto a shaving foam background:
And the last project the group did as a tag:
I think you’ll agree that what they produced is beautiful, and really highlight how differently you can use the stamps and stencils.
If you are interested in joining the group, the dates are listed on the workshops page.
Thank you for taking a look.
