Claritystamp Challenge – March 2017 – It’s a Man’s World

Hello and welcome to the next Claritystamp challenge. I do hope February was good to you and you managed to avoid any serious damage from storm Doris. I have found a new home and hope to get the keys soon. Lots of decorating to do before I move in though!

This month’s theme for the Claritystamp challenge is It’s a Man’s World. Here is my first sample for you:

Man's World 1

I’ve used the Sport Frame from the Sport Frame and Balls set and five men from the Wee Sports People set.

To start create your own backgrounds using stencil card and copy paper and Bursts or Brushos. Spritz with water and move the paint around with a paint brush. The copy paper will be the background for your images.

Man's World 1a

Whilst your backgrounds are drying on a spare piece of paper, cut to the size of the background, play with the positioning of the stamps. Determine the size of the tag you want to use and cut copy paper to size. I wrote the size and sport of each stamp when doing this!

Man's World 1b

Decide on which background you want to choose. Using the text stamp from the Journaling set, stamp randomly over your chosen card using Archival Watering Can, stamped off once. Then cut the card to the size of the tags you want. Edge each tag with a black Sharpie pen

Man's World 1c

Cut the copy paper background to size, and edge with a black Sharpie. Stamp the Sport in black and adhere to the card base.

Man's World 1d

Hole punch your tags and add complementary coloured twine before adhering to the card using foam tape. Here’s the main image again.

A good idea for a man’s card, love the background and you got to use your favourite colours too.

Great card Angela – I got these stamps ages ago and haven’t used them yet……must get them out! They certainly fit the bill for this month’s theme 🙂 x
