Clarity Taunton Workshop – 8th April 2017

Hello I hope you’ve had a lovely Saturday. It was a glorious sunny day in my neck of the woods and I hope you had lovely weather too.

Today was the inaugural Clarity Taunton workshop and we worked with the Kingfisher stamp set and the Leafy Swirl stamp set.

The first project was a KIngfisher picture that was inspired by an image I created at one of Barbara’s retreats with Paul. It is painted with Perfect Pearls mica powders. You also get to see the group – just about in some cases!

Then we made a card using Spectrum Noir Aquatints for the background and Perfect Pearls on the Kingfisher. The Perfect Pearls give the bird a lovely shimmer in real life. I missed one of the cards hence the unusual layout.

After lunch we worked with the leafy swirl stamp on black glossy card. This time they were used in their powder format.

The last project used the kingfisher stamp with dye based inkKingfisher Band

I think you’ll agree that everyone did really well. More dates have now been organised and if you’d like to join us in Somerset please click here, we’d love to see you.
