It’s been a lovely day where I live. Though cold the sun did put in appearance for a few hours. I even managed a walk along the coast with my parents, followed by hot chocolate and chips!
Yesterday was the last Clarity Taunton workshop of the year. Everyone bought some food so we could enjoy a Christmas buffet. It was absolutely delicious – thank you ladies for making it a great day.
When not sharing the buffet we made four projects using the Clocks and Cogs stamp set:

First we used the cogs and clockface:

Great cards by all. Suitable for any male.

Next we used Ken Olive Bursts, Brushos and Pixie Powders with the tag and clockwork stencils. Tina’s flowers added the finishing touch:

I just love the colours that have been used.

The next project used the stencils with ink and stencil brushes:

Again we have some lovely colours, with some members of the group going outside of their colour comfort zone. Great work.

We finished with a tag coloured using spritzed ink.

Again some of them group tried colours they wouldn’t normally choose. Fabulous.

I’ve enjoyed seeing this group develop over it’s first year and am looking forward to much more next year, when we try out lots more techniques.

2018 workshop dates are listed here and it would be lovely to see you if you’re able to join us.
