Hello everyone, thought I’d share with you what we did at the workshop last weekend. The main theme of the day was reflections, with some mica painting at the end.
Here are the projects:
This card used the small Weeping Ash stamp from Clarity and the reflection was added using a brayer. The original idea for this card came from a card I saw on Pinterest. I think you’d agree the ladies made some lovely cards.
This card used the Cottage stamp. For this card the reflection was made using acetate. You stamp on to the acetate and then position the acetate where you want the reflected image and press down. The grey card was embossed with water ripples using an embossing folder from Sheena Douglass. Again the ladies made some lovely cards.
The other two cards were:
The reflection stencil produced some lovely cards of different colours. This Kingfisher stamp set is one of my favourites and everyone loved colouring the bird in using Perfect Pearls as water colours.
Unfortunately time was tight in the afternoon and I didn’t manage to photograph the lovely results by the group.
Thanks for stopping by. If you’re interested in joining the group in Dorset, take a look at my workshops page.
