Hello and thanks for popping in today.

Yesterday I was back with the Clarity Dorset and Hampshire workshop group in St Leonard’s. We always have a great time and yesterday was no exception.

We even had extra cakes and biscuits thanks to Noreen and Julie.

The theme this month was Madeleine, both the large stamp and the stencil.

We also had three visitors who have never crafted before. Emma, who I used to work with and sing with in the company choir, her Mum, Veronica and sister, Jo. Hopefully we didn’t scare them off.

We stamped Madeleine as a topper and placed on a backing made of her own hair pattern. We used Imagination Craft’s new Starlight Wax on the stencil and also used the stamp to create the base for a flower or steampunk based canvas.

Two of our crafty members, Noreen and Erika, did two images facing each other. The beauty of stamping on tissue paper is that you get the reflection of the stamp without trying too hard!

It was a pretty full on day and some of the people had left when I took the photos. These have now been sent to me and have been added below.

Apologies for the layout of these photos, hopefully you can see the marvellous work everyone did.

I’m hoping over the coming week or so to blog a little bit more about how these projects were achieved, so please do pop back.
