On Saturday I had a great time with the Clarity Dorset and Hampshire group.
This month we were working with Clarity Designer Paper, Parchment and Cards. In particular Indian Summer and Shenandoah.
It was a lot cleaner than the last two workshops 😊 and incorporated different techniques.
Stamping on parchment we embossed and coloured in the images before attaching one to a card and the other to designer card which made the cover for a note book. Both images were layered onto white card first.
Here are the groups’ lovely cards and note books:
We also heat embossed, in white, Tina’s flowers on parchment and fussy cut the flowers and leaves. These were then arranged and adhered onto matching designer paper. This did take a little while – there was a lot of fussy cutting!
Here are the groups’ beautiful cards, interpreted in different ways:
Our last card used the designer paper. Silhouette stamps were used to create a scene and the paper was then embossed, layered onto black card and then adhered to a base card.
Again the group made some lovely cards. Unfortunately I have not captured all of the embossing in the photos, although they are all embossed. A couple of ladies used stencils as well to emboss their paper.
I hope you’ve been inspired to use the paper and parchment in different ways. They are really useful for quick cards when you don’t have as much time as you would like.
