Clarity Challenge March 2017 – Mid Month

Good evening and thanks for stopping by.

We’re half way through March now and have seen lots of lovely entries into the Clarity Challenge. As you know the theme is ‘It’s a Man’s World’ and I thought I’d show you another sample, which may inspire you to take part if you haven’t already done so.

Man's World 2

I painted the two pieces of card with Teal and Green Luscious paints from Indigo Blu.They have a lovely shimmer, which looks like light upon water. Unfortunately it doesn’t show up too well in the photos.

Man's World 2a

I then watered the Green luscious paint down and splattered some across the blue card.

Man's World 2b

Using Archival Cobalt ink, I stamped the main image from the Gone Fishing stamp set (I’ve only just found out that’s what the stamp set is called – I’d forgotten!!!).

The sentiment was added using the Alphabet Word Chains. I drew the fishing line using a Distress Marker. The fishes from The Harbour stamp set were then added around the line hooking the letter ‘h’.

Man's World 2c

A blue Sharpie was used around the edge of the card, which was then mounted onto the green card. Baker’s twine was tied around the top right hand corner and a metal fish charm added.

Man's World 2

I hope you like this card and it gives you some ideas to take part yourself.

If you haven’t taken part in the challenge yet you have until 31st March, and you could win a £50 Clarity voucher.
